As the nation’s leading resource and advocacy organization dedicated to helping victims of crime rebuild their lives, the National Center provides assistance to tens of thousands of victims each year. Every day we help victims recover form the trauma of crime, make safety plans, access victim compensation, learn their legal rights and options, find appropriate local services and much more.

We also work to improve our nation’s response to crime victims through such initiative as:
· The Teen Victim Project, designing new services for teenagers, an age group particularly vulnerable to crime.
· The Stalking Resource Center, helping communities across the county develop multidisciplinary responses to stalking, and
· The Parallel Justice Project, bringing a new vision of justice for victims to communities throughout the United States.
