Do you equate guns with violence? Many people who support gun control do. But think about this. Mahatma Gandhi was a peaceful revolutionary. His entire outlook was based on the principle of total non violence. On October second, we will celebrate his birthday. It is actually a national holiday, and known all over the world as the International Day of Non Violence. Mahatma Gandhi was definitely one of the most peaceful men that ever lived – and he was against gun control. He said, “Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.” You see, guns do not have to equal violence. If we bear arms for the reason that our Founding Fathers intended – for self defense – the violence doesn’t even come into the picture. The violence comes in when the bad guys use the weapons to get what they want out of us. Why should we have to surrender our possessions, our families or our lives for these criminals? We should be able to practice our Second Amendment rights and have a gun.
However, if we choose to have a gun, it is crucial that we know how to use it. Owning a gun without proper gun training is not a smart or responsible thing to do. Therefore, we owe it to ourselves and our fellow law abiding citizens to get gun training. Second Amendment Supporter, Dr. Ignatius Piazza started a gun training school called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in an effort to get as many people as possible armed and trained. The goal of the gun training school is to create a safer place to live. Front Sight has taught thousands or people how to properly and safely use a gun, so that they can know how to defend themselves and offer their families protection against those bad guys who are up to no good. From self defense gun training to combat gun training, Ignatius Piazza takes his students to levels that they never would have guessed they could reach.
Our Founding Fathers did not write the Constitution without a purpose. Each and every line in that amazing document has a reason to be there. The Second Amendment isn’t there because James Madison and Roger Sherman thought that they would enjoy going hunting on a Saturday morning. Owning a gun and learning how to use a gun are some of the best ways to defend yourself and keep your family safe. When you find yourself fed up with the amount of violence going on in this country, learn how to defend yourself with handgun training, shotgun training, rifle training or automatic weapons training at Front Sight … or even all four! Combined with a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit Course from Ignatius Piazza, and you will be set to take on any attacker out there to protect yourself and your family.
Remember this year on October second what day it is. Support Mahatma Gandhi’s position that gun control does not help reduce violence and keep the total non violence ideal alive by getting gun training from Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight!
