There are a lot of people that get gun training. This “gun training” often consists of going out the the desert with a friend or a family member, picking up a gun and shooting stuff. That’s what my first lesson in using a gun was like. I was in the desert, my friend’s dad handed me a shotgun and told me to “hold here with your left hand and use your right hand to pull the trigger. Okay go ahead and shoot.” I shot two bullets at the dirt, one at a beer can and then five at clay pigeons. Eight bullets. How can anyone feel comfortable with a gun after shooting eight shots
Some people get gun training by going to a shooting range with some people, where they get to shoot at some targets on the wall for a couple hours. Some people even attend a gun training school and actually learn how to properly hold a gun before they shoot it. Then they spend some time shooting and go home.
What if you could take a self defense gun training course that taught you more than that? (You mean there’s more to gun training than just how to shoot a gun?) Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in Pahrump, Nevada (about an hour away from Las Vegas) teaches students literally everything that goes into using a gun, creating the perfect gun training course. Founder and director, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, created Front Sight’s gun training program to include:
- How to choose and buy a gun
- The combat mindset and how to decide whether or not to use a gun for self defense
- How to stop an attacker without using a gun
- How to be aware of your surroundings to recognize potential threats before they arise
- How to carry a concealed weapon
- How to mentally prepare yourself to shoot
…and that is all before you even present your weapon to shoot! Just imagine how much more the gun training instructors at Front Sight teach. Ignatius Piazza really left nothing out of Front Sight’s gun training program. When you leave your first self defense gun training course at Front Sight, whether it is a handgun training course, automatic weapons training course, shotgun training course or a rifle training course, you will have a strong understanding of the entire gun using process, even down to the legal side of shooting a gun.
Somehow, Ignatius Piazza managed to fit in intense gun training lectures, baffling shooting demonstrations and stimulating hands on tactical gun training into just a few short days. When I tell people everything that they will learn at Front Sight, the response is always a response of surprise. “WOW!” “Hmm. I never thought that’d be important.” “Front Sight even teaches you THAT?”
The gun training program at Front Sight is the most complete gun training program you can find. Not only will you learn an unbelievable amount of intellectual information, you will leave a four day gun training course having shot about six hundred rounds. I’d say that’s a bit better than eight.

Do you have to be a member of SWAT, a seasoned military officer, a gun training instructor or an Army sniper in order to shoot like one? Nope.
Now for the real question. Do you have to be a man in order to handle a weapon and shoot like any of those guys? Nope.
As a woman in her twenties, I was excited, yet somewhat apprehensive, to attend my first Front Sight Firearms Training Institute’s Four Day Defensive Handgun Training Course. But let me tell you, by the end of my first day in my handgun training course at Front Sight, those apprehensive feelings were long gone. By the middle of my second day on the Front Sight shooting range, I was surprised at how much my gun handling skills had improved. After four days with the Front Sight gun training instructors, I looked back at my time and literally could not believe how much I had learned, how much I had done, and that I was able to shoot EXACTLY where I aimed. No kidding… I couldn’t even see the bullet hole because the front sight of my gun was in the way.
The Front Sight gun training instructors do not discriminate. Everyone gets the same amount of attention: a lot. I felt like I was taking a private lesson for four days during my handgun training course. Normally, people would think, “Well, you’re a woman with a gun. Of COURSE you’re going to get extra attention!”
So I asked around among the boys in my gun training group, “Do you feel like you’re getting lots of personal attention from the Front Sight instructors?” The answers were always the same: YES.
It is essential for women to learn self defense. Typically, (not always, but typically) we are smaller, weaker and more desirable targets. Dr. Ignatius Piazza, founder and director of Front Sight, will get you that self defense training you need and deserve. Maybe you do not care if you shoot as well as a guy that shoots guns for a living. All you want to do is stop the bad guy, right? Well, there is a fifty percent rule. That means your shots in the heat of the moment when you are being attacked are not going to be as accurate as you practiced at the range. You’ll be shooting at about fifty percent. So, if you get gun training that makes you an acceptable shooter, gives you just enough experience or even makes it so you can hit your target most of the time, good luck to you if you have to use a gun to save your life or the life of a loved one. I don’t know about you, but if I’m being attacked, I want to actually stop the guy… not just piss him off. Ignatius Piazza and the gun training instructors at Front Sight have a goal of making you a perfect shooter, so when your life counts on your shots, you’ll have a greater chance of getting out alive.

Let’s paint the picture. It is the middle of the night and you’re in bed. You wake up to the sound of someone rummaging through your kitchen downstairs. Your kids are at a sleepover, so you know it’s not them, and your wife is sleeping soundly next to you. You keep a gun next to your bed, so you grab it. You creep down the stairs and peer into the kitchen to see a man in a mask, filling a bag with your stuff. He sees you and raises his gun. You point yours at him, pull the trigger and… no bang. You’ve got a dead trigger. Your gun just malfunctioned. Wait… guns can malfunction? Do you know what to do?
The first time my gun malfunctioned I didn’t know what just happened. Luckily, I was in my first day of my gun training course at Dr. Ignatius Piazza’s gun training school, called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. We were just learning how to aim at a stationary target and put two bullets through the thoracic cavity of the paper man. There was no timed pressure, and I wasn’t worried about my paper man shooting back. My gun training partner, who had previously attended Front Sight, looked quickly at my gun and said, “Oh, you have a type three malfunction. Don’t worry. You are going to learn all about that and how to fix it.”
How did he KNOW that?
My Front Sight gun training instructor came over and helped me clear the malfunction and told me the same thing. Ignatius Piazza planned for this sort of thing when designing his gun training program at Front Sight.
There is NO WAY I’m going to remember all of this.
The next morning, at the Front Sight gun training range, the instructors announced that we were going to learn about the different malfunctions. They gave a quick lecture and a demonstration that made me think, “Huh? How did he do that so fast?” Step by step, we went through each gun malfunction, how to diagnose them and how to clear them.
This gun training stuff is beginning to get pretty intense. I’m starting to learn how to clear these things when the steps are being called out for us, but I don’t know if I’d be able to handle this under timed pressure in a gun fight with no one telling me what type of malfunction my gun has.
The Front Sight gun training instructors stuck with us. They didn’t give up or get frustrated when it took some of us longer to learn these difficult gun training and gun handling techniques. Ignatius Piazza really did a great job picking these guys to be Front Sight instructors. That fact was brought to life on my third day of gun training: the night gun training section.
I had my gun and my flashlight pointed in on my target. I pressed the trigger. Dead trigger. I can’t give my position away so I do what the Front Sight instructors teach: kill the light and move. Would I have been able to do what I did on day one? Heck no. But by day three, I was able to do it. I cleared that malfunction in just a few seconds… in the dark, not being able to see my gun. I stayed “alive” in that gun fight because of what Ignatius Piazza’s gun training instructors taught me.
Will you stay alive in your gunfight?

Standing at the open front door of the house, creeping around the edge, I see a man at the other end of the house holding a grenade. I quickly lean back, holding my gun at the ready position, thinking about what to do next. I ask my gun training instructor, “At what point can this guy see me?” He answers, “Well, with the way your foot is positioned, he can see you already. You better shoot him now before he throws that grenade.” Within three quarters of a second, I have stepped into the doorway, pointed in at the guy and shot him twice in the thoracic cavity. No one is blowing up my house today.
Where am I? I am in Pahrump, Nevada, at Dr. Ignatius Piazza’s gun training school called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, taking a Four Day Defensive Handgun Training Course. Don’t worry… the guy I shot was just a paper target. But what if he was real?
I have friends that regularly go shooting, either at a range or somewhere out in the desert. They take their guns, their ammunition, their gear and go have a good time shooting paper targets and clay pigeons. They have never had professional gun training, but they talk about how awesome they are with a gun because they have been shooting dozens of times over a period of several years. They keep guns in their homes because they think they’ll be able to stop an intruder. But do they know that if an intruder comes into their houses, everything matters? Everything down to how you walk down the hall or through a doorway can change the way that intruder reacts to your presence… or can keep your presence a secret. How would you exit your bedroom and walk down the hall to get your kids if you heard the sound of breaking glass on the other side of the house? Most people simply say, “As fast as possible.” But did you know that there is a way that can get you to your kids safely, and there is a way that is more likely to get you killed?
Don’t be intimidated if you don’t know these things. Ignatius Piazza is able to help you with that at his gun training school called Front Sight. Wait, why would I learn how to walk through A DOOR at a gun training school? Shouldn’t I be learning how to shoot? Trust me, you will learn how to shoot a gun safely and better than anyone you know. But at this gun training school, you will also learn literally EVERYTHING ELSE you need to know about using a gun safely and effectively for self defense, from way before you ever grab your gun until dealing with law enforcement and the courts, including… yes, you guessed it… how to walk through a door correctly.
Front Sight’s gun training program is definitely the most complete gun training program you will find. Ignatius Piazza left nothing out when designing Front Sight’s curriculum. So, let me ask you… is the way you walk through a door putting you at risk?

Want to increase your confidence? Want to learn more than you ever thought possible? Want to have tons of fun doing it? There is just one place you need to go. The place that I am talking about is called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute and it is located in Pahrump, Nevada.
You may be doubtful about a couple things. First, how can a gun training school increase your confidence? Well, Front Sight helps you raise your confidence level in a number of ways. The first way is the most obvious. When you are more than competent in some skill, it is normal to be confident about it, right? So, if you knew how to properly and safely operate a firearm better than 99% of the gun owning population, wouldn’t you be confident about it? But let’s take it a step further. If you could shoot EXACTLY where you aim, every single time, would you be confident about your shooting skills? If you could present a weapon from a concealed holster and be ready to shoot your targets before your friends even got their hands on their guns, would you feel pretty good? The gun training instructors at Front Sight will teach you how to safely present your weapon, how to aim, shoot and hit your target accurately… and you will have the skills to do it in 1.5 seconds. How’s that for some confidence?
Next, the founder of Front Sight, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, wants you to have another kind of confidence. This confidence can only come with the comfort of skill at arms. It is the serene feeling that you KNOW you and your family are safe, no matter what happens. If someone were to break into your house or violently approach you in a parking lot, after attending a gun training course at Front Sight, you will know exactly how to handle that situation, from beginning to end… including the legal side of the spectrum. Front Sight has got all of your questions covered. After a few days with Ignatius Piazza and his team of gun training instructors, you will be ready for anything.
Front Sight will teach you more than you thought there could ever be to know about gun safety and gun handling. In just a couple of days at the gun training school, you will look back and be surprised at how much you learned. If you think you know a lot about guns now, I urge you to test your knowledge and take a course at Front Sight. I have met gun training instructors from other gun training schools that have attended one of Ignatius Piazza’s courses, and you know what they said? “I had no idea how much I didn’t know about gun training.” And THAT is coming from people that teach gun training for a living. Incredible.
Last but definitely not least, Front Sight is fun. I’d rather sit and listen to a lecture from a Front Sight instructor than do just about anything else. These guys are knowledgeable, interesting and funny… all the while teaching really important stuff about gun safety. If you are looking for a good time, I suggest checking out a gun training course at Front Sight. It’ll be your new favorite hobby… and I’m not even exaggerating.

Our economy is a tough one, wouldn’t you say? People are losing their jobs left and right with all of the budget cuts. Sadly, some of these people who are getting laid off are the people that are supposed to be there to protect us. Our cities are finding that there are less and less law enforcement officers on the streets to patrol and keep us safe. It is a scary thought to think about how long it can take for the police to arrive on a scene if something bad happens. By the time those flashing lights are seen, the burglar, rapist or child predator could be long gone. So what can we do to protect ourselves for those times that law enforcement leaves us hanging?
Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza urges us to always be prepared. Just like you are more likely to pass a test if you study for it, you are more likely to survive an attack if you study self defense techniques. Ignatius Piazza will give you the best self defense training and gun training that you can receive, so you will be completely prepared for anything. He runs a gun training school in Nevada, called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, that offers students gun training and other forms of self defense training at affordable rates.
What if you already know how to shoot a gun? Do you still need gun training? Let’s talk about just a few of the things you will learn from Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight. Then, maybe, you can tell me.
One. Gun Safety. Guns are powerful weapons that can very easily be used incorrectly or in a dangerous manner. Gun safety training at Front Sight will train you how to perfectly hold your gun so that your wrists, arms, shoulders, chest and face are all protected. You will learn how to safely handle your weapon in all situations, when to shoot, when to not shoot and how to shoot. With proper gun safety training, a gun will provide you with the comfort of skill at arms.
Two. Mental Awareness. If you know something is going to happen before it happens, you have more reaction time. If you have more reaction time, you have a greater chance of responding effectively. Ignatius Piazza’s Color Code of Mental Awareness will train your mind to be on its game all the time, increasing your ability to recognize threats before they occur.
Three. Shooting Speed. Gun training with Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight will teach you how to draw a gun from a concealed holster, aim and shoot in 1.5 seconds or less. I honestly don’t think this needs further explanation as to why it is important, but think about this. If a man is holding your daughter and pressing his gun to her head, how fast do you want your reaction time to be?
Four. Shooting Accuracy. It doesn’t do too much good if you are super fast at drawing your weapon if you never hit your target. Gun training at Front Sight will get your shooting as accurate as possible. You will be able to hit all kinds of targets, whether they are stationary or moving. Shooting a moving target becomes important when predators are running away or are in a moving vehicle. Attackers are not going to sit still and wait while you point your gun. Ignatius Piazza and the Front Sight gun training instructors will get your shooting as accurate as the pros.
So, what do you think? When the cops don’t come right away, wouldn’t it be good to know these special gun training techniques? Did your previous gun training teach you all this? Front Sight will!

How did Front Sight Firearms Training Institute become the number one gun training school in the world? It took a lot of hard work and preparation by a man named Dr. Ignatius Piazza, plus dedication and perseverance of the best staff ever put together. To me, the greatest part about Front Sight being the best in the world is not actually the fact that it is the best in the world. It is that Ignatius Piazza and all of his staff members work hard to make Front Sight the best in the world TO ME, and they will do the same for you. What do I mean by this?
Something can be considered “the best” but is not actually the best for everyone individually. You might find a recipe for the “world’s best apple pie”… but come on, you REALLY know that Grandma’s is better. The best airline in terms of pricing, accommodations and comfort due to a lot of leg room might not be so comfortable to someone who prefers small spaces. But Ignatius Piazza shoots to make Front Sight the best in the world AND the best to individuals, so he and his staff cater to everyone individually.
Ignatius Piazza started out by believing that only the best can give the best. If you had a choice of learning basketball from Shaq or some random elementary school phys ed teacher, which would you choose? Exactly. So, Ignatius Piazza decided to make himself the best. He studied harder than he has ever studied in his life, practiced shooting and took tons of hours of gun training courses until he finally earned his Four Weapons Combat Master Certificate. I am sure you can agree that because of this, Ignatius Piazza knows more about gun training than most gun training instructors out there.
Then we can add in the fact that Ignatius Piazza holds all of his gun training instructors to the same standards he holds of himself, meaning that no average shooter can become a Front Sight Instructor. Not even being a great shooter is good enough to show Ignatius Piazza that someone should be an instructor for Front Sight. They’ve got to stand up to Ignatius Piazza’s Instructor Training Course and his expectations. It’s no wonder that Front Sight is the best in the world.
So what about me? Why is Front Sight the best for me? Well, for one, Front Sight’s customer service is ridiculously incredible. One phone call to the gun training school and you will see what I mean. Secondly, Front Sight’s gun training program is a very personal thing. You can choose between a long list of tailored gun training courses or you can design one for yourself. Ignatius Piazza makes it easy to create the gun training course that you want to take when you want to take it, and you get to take it from one of those intensely trained instructors.
Like I said, Front Sight wants to be the best in the world to YOU, not just the best in the world.

What is stopping you from getting self defense training? It is a well known fact that self defense training is important, right? So why haven’t you gone out and gotten any? Most people will give one of two answers: time and/or money. So, what if I told you that I had a solution for both of those things? Would you get self defense training then?
Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is the number one gun training school in the world, offering gun training, knife training and empty hands self defense training to thousands upon thousands of students every year. Not only does Front Sight provide the best quality gun training and other self defense training that money can buy, but founder and director, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, has conquered the issues of both time and money. Now, even people with tightly packed schedules and limited funds can benefit from getting gun training from the best gun training instructors in the world. So what is Ignatius Piazza’s solution?
First, Ignatius Piazza created Front Sight’s gun training program to be fast paced and challenging, encompassing every aspect of the gun world, including gun safety, shooting accuracy, shooting speed and efficiency with weapons. No single bit of important information is left out of a Front Sight gun training course, so students can be sure that they are getting every piece of knowledge that they need or will ever need. Then, he stuffed all of that information into short time frames. Because of this, at Front Sight, students can spend one weekend’s time learning all they have ever wanted to know, and leave the weekend feeling educated and rejuvenated in the world. Ignatius Piazza’s no nonsense gun training program cuts out the time fillers that most other gun training schools pepper throughout their courses to make their programs look more complete. What students are left with is a supply of only the newest and best innovative gun news, gun safety training and self defense gun training they can imagine.
Okay… so what about the money? Ignatius Piazza knows that most people don’t want to spend a lot of money. He created tons of Front Sight deals so people don’t have to spend what they don’t want to spend! From discounted courses to super inexpensive Front Sight Lifetime Memberships to free gun training course certificates, Ignatius Piazza covered all of his bases. But even so, he decided to go a step further and offer his personal gun training guarantee, which states that if by the end of your first self defense gun training course, you do not feel that you received the best gun training you could have, Ignatius Piazza will actually pay for your training. So now, not only are your Front Sight gun training courses an incredible value, you don’t even have to risk anything.
Take a moment to think about the solutions that Front Sight offers law abiding citizens from all over the world. Now, let me ask you this again. What is stopping you from getting self defense training?

Do you have children? How old are they? Whether they are young children or older teens, I am sure you want to keep them safe. When you are at home with them, taking a walk with them or on a family outing, it may be quite possible for you to protect them. But what about the times that you are at work or when they are out with friends? What can you do then? How can you offer family protection when you are not physically there?
You can join forces with Dr. Ignatius Piazza and prepare your family members to protect themselves. Ignatius Piazza directs a gun training school in Nevada called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. Front Sight offers self defense training courses for everyone in your family, including your kids. You and your spouse can enroll in one of Front Sight’s exciting gun training courses and learn how to shoot a gun with perfect accuracy and speed, while practicing intense gun safety. Your teens can attend a gun training course for teens or an empty hands self defense martial arts training course and learn how to stay safe in the real world, guard themselves against gangs and how to protect their friends. If you’ve got younger kids, Ignatius Piazza also offers a Child Safety Training Course and a Youth Safety Training Course, where children and young teens can learn how to resist peer pressure, how to ward off bad guys, how to defend themselves and how to disable an attacker.
If you are like many parents, you are probably concerned with how much your kids will actually learn whenever you enroll them in a self defense training course. This is totally understandable! But I want to tell you that with Ignatius Piazza training your children, you can rest confidently that they will learn more than they would from any other self defense training school. Ignatius Piazza promises you that your kids will learn an incredible amount in his self defense training courses AND they won’t be bored during class. Dan Whitney says of Front Sight’s teen gun training, “My abilities and knowledge have tripled.” Another student of Ignatius Piazza, Anastasia, says, “My teacher was funny and made the class fun.”
In Ignatius Piazza’s gun training and self defense training courses at Front Sight, instructors use real life scenarios to train students. Front Sight’s child safety training, youth safety training and teen gun training courses teach students how to respond to threatening situations through age appropriate reenactments. These student involved reenactments will keep your child’s attention, so you can be sure that your young ones will be learning the entire time. They will be having so much fun in class that they will not even realize how much they are actually learning.
After attending one of Front Sight’s child safety training or youth safety training courses, you can feel great knowing that your kids will be safe, even when you are not around to protect them yourself. Front Sight will help you put your worried mind at ease.
