The third time is the charm… or so many people hope. You see, there is this guy who has been given the death sentence. For the third time. Von Clark Davis shot and killed his girlfriend, Suzette Butler, in 1983. He was given the death penalty in 1984 but it was relieved. I don’t really know why she got in a relationship with him in the first place, especially without a self defense training or gun training background, because he was on parole during their time together… he had originally been charged for stabbing and killing his wife. Seems like a catch to me! Anyhow, Davis seems to be immune to hear that he is being sentenced to die, because every time it happens, something comes up and his sentence is released. And once again, it looks as if he is going to fight for his life. His lawyer asked for a sentence of thirty years to life. What does this mean to us? It means that if he is given a lesser sentence than the death penalty, technically, he could be up for parole again in a matter of years. Back on the streets. Back to our women. Don’t turn your back.
