Gun Training and Gun Control

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

In the debate of gun control, there are two very different sides. One side supports the idea of gun control, while the other side firmly believes in the Second Amendment, which guarantees law abiding citizens the right to keep and bear arms. Unfortunately, it really seems that the two sides have trouble seeing the other.

Many people are gun control advocates because they just do not understand the concept that proper gun training increases safety. Some people support gun control because they have been a victim or know a victim of a gun crime, so they view guns as unsafe. Still, others think that gun control is the way to go because “guns are unnecessary.” The fact of the matter is, is that several gun control supporters have taken a gun training course at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute with Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, and they left supporting the Second Amendment. Why?

First, they learned that guns do not have to be unsafe. Yes, a gun is unsafe if the person holding it does not know how to properly handle it. This is when accidents happen and people get hurt. Gun training, especially the quality of gun training provided from Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight, changes this. Ignatius Piazza’s gun training program teaches everything someone needs to know in order to increase the safety level. It has been named the best place in the world to receive gun training; the unsurpassed leader in the firearms training industry. There are many important things that most people do not know about handling a gun, and Ignatius Piazza will provide all of that information in an interesting, easy to understand and fun manner.

People that think guns are unnecessary are forgetting the fact that criminals are going to have guns. If guns are outlawed, a criminal is still going to keep a gun. Think about it. Would a rapist, bank robber, burglar or murderer submit to gun control and give in his or her gun because guns are all of a sudden illegal? People need to know how to use guns for self defense. Front Sight will teach you how disarm an attacker and how to handle that gun safely. Even if you choose to not practice your Second Amendment rights and you choose to not own a gun, you should still get gun training to know how to handle one in the case of an attack. When choosing who to attack, criminals do not discriminate against gun control supporters and people who do not carry. In fact, if they know you do not like guns or do not have one on you, you are considered an “easier target” and are therefore more likely to be chosen as prey. It is so important that you know how to handle this and escape from the situation.

Whether or not you choose to support the Second Amendment, it is still crucial that you know how to defend yourself and use a gun if the situation calls for it. Front Sight Firearms Training Institute provides gun training to gun control supporters and Second Amendment supporters alike, because no matter where a person stands on the scale, that person still deserves to be safe.

Front Sight: Get More Out Of Life

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

For the law abiding citizens that want more out of life, Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is there to help. Front Sight will help citizens from all over the globe secure themselves more confidence and the serenity that comes with the comfort of skill at arms. Average, everyday ordinary people have the ability to become extraordinary, life saving powerhouses, and Front Sight will provide all of the information needed to achieve such greatness. Dr. Ignatius Piazza, the founder and director of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute planned out his self defense gun training program carefully to ensure his students that they are receiving the best quality gun training available. Lectures, demonstrations and hands on gun training combine together at Front Sight to create a brilliant blend that helps students learn and retain the most information possible. Ignatius Piazza brings balance to the shooting range, by including everything in Front Sight’s training, not just the main ideas. So what information is included in a Front Sight gun training course? Let me put it this way: if you have ever had a question about guns, gun safety or gun training of any kind, you can find your answers at Front Sight.

Ignatius Piazza provides COMPLETE gun training. He is not just going to show students how to shoot, like the instructors do at most other gun training schools. Front Sight is different. Front Sight instructors teach how to shoot, when to shoot, when NOT to shoot, why to shoot, where to shoot, what to do before and after you shoot and even how to avoid having to shoot. Literally, everything is covered at Front Sight. Front Sight’s curriculum focuses on safety, making even first time shooters completely comfortable with their weapons.

Tactical gun training at Front Sight goes beyond target shooting practice. Front Sight instructors arrange safe and supervised real life scenarios, that allow students to have the chance to feel what it would be like to be attacked on the street or in their homes. This trains students better than just telling them how to handle each situation. If an attack were to happen in their lives, having been through the motions before, Front Sight students are better prepared to escape. In these hands on training sessions, students not only learn how to handle their weapons, but they learn how to disarm an attacker, how to use their own bodies as self defense weapons, how to shoot and hit a moving target and how to handle multiple attackers at once. Front Sight students are better prepared for the real world than students of other gun training schools.

Front Sight helps students get more out of life. No longer will they live in fear or be paranoid that they are going to get attacked. Men will not have to fear for their families. Women will feel comfortable walking to their cars alone, even late at night. Teens will grow up more confident, less likely to fall to peer pressure and be able to protect themselves and their soon to be families. When the fear, worry and stress can be left in the past, life can become a beautiful and fulfilling thing.
