The man who killed seven people in a restaurant in Chicago back in 1993, James Degorski, has finally been convicted and sentenced to life in prison. He brutally murdered two of the Chicago restaurant’s owners and five of their employees by shooting them, stabbing them and then stacking them in the walk in refrigerator. The co-defendant in the Degorski murder case, Juan Luna, was convicted of murder two years ago and was also sentenced to life in prison. It seems like we hear about murders every day. Either a new slaying has occurred or people are finally getting convicted for past ones. If a day goes by where we do not have to endure hearing about one more murder, other viscous crimes still plague our newscasts. Rapes, robberies, carjackings, you name it – our news stories are just littered with unfortunate events. When will people realize that until we do something about it, these things will just keep happening? Violent crimes can be prevented! Let’s start taking action! (more…)

Get Gun Training – Because Crime Keeps Happening
Tuesday, December 15th, 2009Gun Training Protects Your Home
Monday, December 14th, 2009Imagine yourself at home, hanging out with your wife. Then, all of a sudden, your doorknob starts to jiggle. You can hear muffled voices on the other side of your door. You hear the sound of low clicking as the knob continues to move. Then you hear it. One loud CLICK and your door swings open. Three masked beings stand in your doorway. They barge in. In their gloved hands, you see a gun. What do you do? Are you ready? Are you safe? Is your wife safe? Take a moment to consider the story. Sound kind of far fetched? Okay, well, consider this.
A couple was murdered last week and as a result, five people have been arrested. Fifty three year old Willem le Roux appeared to have been killed due to multiple head injuries. His wife, fifty year old Julie Roux was killed by a gunshot to her head. In addition, several of their belongings were recovered, meaning the couple was murdered during a robbery. The Roux murder has brought attention, once again, to the fact that home burglaries are on the rise. (more…)
Positive Gun Training
Friday, December 11th, 2009Investigators are still searching for the man who shot and killed a man in Springfield, Massachusetts this week. Unfortunately, this was the fifteenth murder this year in the city! The twenty three year old man who was killed was only shot once in the chest, and that is what did it. He died later at the hospital. Front Sight Firearms Training Institute wants to prevent deaths like this by getting as many people as possible armed and trained. If people are armed with weapons and know how to use them safely and effectively, there will be less crime like this. Dr. Ignatius Piazza, founder and director of Front Sight, firmly believes in this and will go out of his way to get YOU the gun training that you need to stay safe in today’s society. With crime on the rise, self defense training and gun training are absolutely imperative. At Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, gun training is not something that is taken lightly. All of the gun training courses at Front Sight are taught professionally, enthusiastically and leaving nothing for you to figure out for yourself. After your first self defense gun training course from Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight, you will be able to out shoot pretty much everyone you know… even if you know people who shoot guns for a living! Military men even endorse Front Sight, saying they learned more in one weekend from Ignatius Piazza than they had in boot camp and in twenty plus years in the service. And to add to it, Front Sight’s gun training instructors are NICE! Imagine that! You would think that to get the results that Front Sight reaps, the gun training instructors would have to be strict and forceful, much like drill sergeants. However, Ignatius Piazza ensures you that Front Sight is just the opposite – which is one of the reasons that Front Sight’s gun training is so successful. People respond better to positive encouragement as opposed to negativity and rude attitudes. Front Sight’s gun training instructors’ uplifting demeanor helps students feel comfortable with what they are doing. Ignatius Piazza’s students rave about how wonderful their gun training instructors are! (more…)
When Fist Fights Leave the Schoolyard
Monday, December 7th, 2009Early in the morning a fight broke out between two men out on the street. As a result, one of the men faces murder charges, as his sixty seven year old victim suffered serious head trauma and later died. You would think that as a mature adult, you would not die as the result of a fist fight on the street. Fists fights are for school age kids and drunken people in bars, not a elderly person out for an early morning walk. Some people are just unbelievable.
Self defense training is important at any age. Do you find yourself getting older? As you age, do you feel you are not as strong as you once were? Do you feel like your better days are behind you? They are not! Dr. Ignatius Piazza of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute can show you how to protect yourself and protect your family at all times, regardless of your size, strength or age. Front Sight’s gun training courses teach amazing gun handling techniques and self defense skills. In fact, Front Sight has been rated the number one gun training school in the world! It is the best place to go when you decide that you do not want to become a victim. (more…)
Ease Anxieties with Front Sight!
Wednesday, November 25th, 2009William Inmon, a twenty one year old from Apache County in Arizona said some pretty scary things to authorities this week. He pleaded guilty to three murders, one being of a sixteen year old boy, one a sixty year old man, and the other a seventy two year old man, and then continued by saying he would have just kept on killing people if he had not been caught. People like this pose a threat to citizens everywhere, but we do not need to be afraid of them. As a Four Weapons Combat Master, Ignatius Piazza has an extremely diverse knowledge of several different kinds of weapons and knows how to use guns safely and effectively. Front Sight – Because Every Second Counts
Saturday, November 21st, 2009The family was tight knit. Somewhat strict father seventy nine year old Joe Washington and mother seventy seven Johnnie raised a few kids to be good people – they had at least one daughter and two sons. One son is a Reverend and the other is a fifty three year old military veteran who spent tons of time with his dad. Friends and family say that the son would rather hang out with his dad than with friends. They even worked together. They totally got along great. That is, of course, until the kid shot and killed his parents. (more…)
No Gun Training? Here’s What Can Happen
Friday, November 20th, 2009This is the perfect example that shows why gun training is so important if you wish to practice your Second Amendment rights and have a gun in the house. Twenty year old Alaine Beasley would probably agree, knowing what she knows now. Well, that is, if she were still alive. Her husband for ten weeks, Joshua Beasely, accidentally shot her while playing a game. He said he had forgotten the shotgun was loaded when he pointed it at his wife and pulled the trigger. If he had had proper gun training, like the gun training offered at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute by Dr. Ignatius Piazza, Beasely might not be in the situation he is in now. He’s killed his wife. Now he faces several years behind bars. Gun training can save lives and keep people out of prison. (more…)
Front Sight – For When Criminals Don’t Get Caught
Monday, November 16th, 2009September 1995. A woman’s body was found, wrapped in a sleeping bag, killed by a gunshot to the head. October 1995. Another murder, this time the woman was found just outside of a state Forest. Neither of the women were ever identified – and police seem to think that the two murders are somehow linked, because the women appear to be related. Investigators have not stopped trying to solve this mystery, but like a scary novel turned real life, nothing else has come of it. Has the killer struck again? No one really knows, because no one knows who the killer is. It’s been fourteen years. That person could be the person standing behind you in the grocery store line. It could be your new next door neighbor that seems so friendly. Who knows? Prepare for the uncertainty in life with self defense training and gun training from Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. (more…)
Keep Your Family Alive With Front Sight
Sunday, November 8th, 2009“My dad’s dead, my uncle’s dead. There’s like six. My whole family’s dead!”
These are the words of twenty two year old Guy Heinze, Jr., on a 9-1-1 call he made this week. He came home to a house of dead people – seven, to be exact. Two more were critically injured, but one of them, a boy with Down Syndrome, died that night. Apparently, the family was beaten to death, and brutally beaten, at that. Faces were “smashed in,” as the young man phrased it. The Georgia mobile home murders are baffling many people, because there was not a suspect to be found. The only person police have taken into custody so far is Heinze. The detective on the job is calling this the “worst murder case in his twenty five years on the job.” (more…)
