You have heard me say it time and time again. Dr. Ignatius Piazza’s Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is the best place in the world to receive any type of gun training, whether you want shotgun training, rifle training, handgun training or automatic weapons training. I am a student of Front Sight, so I speak from first hand experience when I say there is no place like Front Sight. Before attending Front Sight, I did extensive research on gun training and on Ignatius Piazza’s school… and I was confident that this was the place for me. I believed it was the best, knew I would get the greatest gun training money could buy and was so excited to experience it for real.
My expectations were absolutely nothing compared to the gun training I received from Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza’s gun training instructors. By the end of my first four day defensive handgun training course, I felt amazing. I started out shaky, with my bullets hitting the targets all over the place. I finished up with my shots hitting exactly where I wanted them to. I started out apprehensive, feeling uncomfortable with a gun on my hip or in my hand. I finished up with a presentation so fast that it surprised myself (and my classmates) every time I did it. I started out my gun training not knowing much about what bullet placement meant. I finished my handgun training course at Front Sight with knowledge that I have been able to pass on to friends.
My friend went shooting with his brother at a shooting range. I was supposed to go with them, but couldn’t that day. I was sad because I had been excited to school them on the range with the techniques I had learned at Front Sight. I got random text message updates from my friend and he mentioned he wasn’t shooting all that well. So, naturally, I asked him to send me a picture. I received a picture message of his target a few minutes later and, based on what I saw, immediately knew his issue. I asked if he wanted my input. His response was doubtful. “You mean you’re going to give me advice based on a picture of my spread?” I imagined the smirk on his face but was confident enough in my gun training to blow it off.
“Yeah, actually.” He agreed and I immediately went on to tell him about mashing the trigger, how I knew that’s what he was doing, why people do it and how to fix it. Several minutes later I got another picture and a surprised response. His shots had already improved about fifty to sixty percent. He was impressed. The quality of Front Sight’s gun training had, yet again, been enforced. I have to admit, it is a pretty awesome feeling when you can give a gun training lesson over text message… and have it work. Needless to say, my friend and his brother are now both first family members at Front Sight.

Dr. Ignatius Piazza is a man that strongly supports the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The famous text stating, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed,” sends a powerful message of safety, protection and freedom. Winnipeg experienced a random crime spree this week. Three knife point robberies threatened employees at gas stations and a hair salon, while the bandits made off with cash in their wallets. Due to these robberies, fortunately, Troy Jason Burrows and Kyle Gordon Nesbitt are now in custody. However, just because these two guys have been arrested, does not mean that there are not other criminals out there, just waiting for the perfect moment to take your money. In an economy like the one we currently have, I am sure you value the money that you have in your pocket. If you are lucky enough to have a job, you work hard for that money and would probably rather keep it than share it with some hoodlum on the street. If you do not have a job, you know that money is rare, so the money you DO have should stay with you. As hard as you work for your cash, there are people out there looking for an easy way out of their poverty and they will go to ridiculous extremes to get their hands on some dough. Do not let yourself be a victim! Keep your money, because it is YOURS, not theirs! The prisoners of Illinois have started being released from prison early. The process of releasing these prisoners will continue over several weeks, eventually totaling about one thousand released inmates, which is on the light end if you compare it to the rest of the country. Virginia is another state that is ‘only’ planning on releasing about one thousand prisoners. New York is proposing an early release of sixteen hundred, Kentucky plans on two thousand, and California is going to release about fifty five thousand over the next few years. No, I did not type that wrong. I did not mean fifty five hundred. I meant fifty five thousand. Scary! Also, California is planning on reducing the parole population to further save money for the state. Seventy thousand parolees will soon be let off parole. Ohio’s prison system was built to hold thirty six thousand inmates, but currently holds fifty two thousand. Many states are promising that “only non violent criminals will be released,” but in states like Kentucky, even murderers made the early release list. In addition to letting prisoners out of custody early and reducing parole populations, prisons will be less guarded, as thousands of prison employees are being let go.
