In South Africa, it is severely difficult to obtain a gun. Applicants that would like to own a gun need to pass a competency test, a background check, an inspection of their homes and the police need to license the weapon, among other things that factor into the application process. The waiting period is usually longer than two years, and many people are denied arbitrarily. The BGOASA (an association of gun-owners in South Africa) was disappointed to report that about 2% of applicants were successful in obtaining a firearms. In addition, in three years (2006-2009) the police of South Africa reported a loss of 8,286 firearms, many of which were stolen.

Austria has much less strict gun control laws. There are some guns that the government restricts, but for the most part, citizens can get a gun somewhat easily. There are guns that require permission through licensing and some guns that require registration, while there are some guns that do not require registration at all. Most guns can be obtained by any citizen that is 18 years of age or older.

Which country do you think has a lower murder rate?

South Africa, with its very strict gun control laws, has been reported as one of the countries with the highest murder rates in the world, while Austria has been reported as one of the lowest murder rates.

Interesting.

It just goes to show that gun control does not equal less murder.

Founder and director of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, is a believer in this concept. Gun control is not going to help us. In the case of South Africa, the criminals that wanted guns stole them from the police. Where does that leave us law abiding citizens if the criminals have the guns and we do not? “Great… the guy that just broke into my house and is holding my wife has a gun. And I have this handy dandy bat that I can swing at him from across the room while he shoots me?”

Our Founding Fathers seemed to have it in their minds that owning a gun for self defense was important enough to list it as the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. We, as Americans, have a duty to uphold that right by not taking advantage of the situation, and by being SMART and SAFE about it. If we choose to practice our Second Amendment Right to keep and bear arms, we owe it to ourselves, our loved ones and our Founding Fathers to know how to safely handle that firearm. Ignatius Piazza, a Four Weapons Combat Master, can help us be smart and safe about gun ownership by giving us the best gun training money can buy at his gun training school, Front Sight Firearms Training Institute.

Guns can be efficient tools of self defense… if they are handled properly and used correctly. Please do not choose to own a gun just because it is a “right.” As Uncle Ben so famously stated, “With great power comes great responsibility.” If you want to own a gun, please get gun training and learn how to use that gun safely. Come to Front Sight and secure yourself that gun training.

How did you spend your Fourth of July? Many people spent their Independence Day at the barbecue, enjoying burgers and maybe a cold one or two. Some people party their cares away. But there is one thing that is for sure: Walking down the street on July Fourth is a huge reminder of how great it is to be an American. People carry flags and fly them high, proud of where they live and where they come from. We, as Americans, are afforded some of the greatest freedoms we could ever ask for. I don’t know about you, but I would really like to keep those freedoms.

It is almost time for another Election Year. Seeing what has happened over the last several years, it is obvious we really need to think about who we elect as our new President. What are the issues that are really important to you? For many people, like myself, the issue of health care is important. Taxes interest a lot of people. The Department of Defense interests a large group of people. Another issue that is super important to me is that good old Second Amendment: The Right to Bear Arms.

We have come way too close to losing that right… and I want a President that is going to help us keep it. However, Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, has worked hard in the past to help our lawmakers know just how important that right is to us, and he will not stop working. Ignatius Piazza, the founder and director of a huge gun training school called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, is an avid Second Amendment supporter, as am I. He understands how important it is that we keep that right to bear arms. If we lose that right, it puts us in danger because as much as we don’t like to admit, the bad guys are still going to have guns. Gun control is not the answer. Guns are never going to be completely out of the picture. They will always be there.

The truth of the matter is, is that guns in untrained hands are dangerous. There is no trying to get out of or around that one. But guns in the hands of someone who has had great gun training, like the self defense gun training offered by Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, can be wonderful tools for family protection and self defense. What we need to be doing is requiring professional gun training, rather than trying to kick guns out of the picture.

Front Sight offers the best gun training that money can buy. In just a few short days, Ignatius Piazza can teach anyone the skills it takes to safely and effectively use a gun for self defense. After just four days with Ignatius Piazza in his gun training courses at Front Sight, any student can have better gun handling skills than ninety nine percent of the gun owning population… and that includes people who use guns for a living.

I support the Second Amendment. I support Ignatius Piazza. And, as a student of the gun training school, I support Front Sight!

Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, founder and director of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, is a firm believer in the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Many people across America have conflicting views on this Amendment. Some love it. Some hate it. Some think it is okay but just not for them. Some are indifferent. Some are afraid of it. Some think it should go away and some think it should stay. I wonder why people want to do away with the Second Amendment. Why would we want to take away such a strong tool of self defense? Why would we want to put ourselves at risk?

Sure, at face value, the Pro Gun Control argument sounds awesome. “Getting rid of guns will reduce crime and keep us safer.” Who doesn’t want to be safer? I know I would love to live in a place with zero crime and not have to worry about walking down the street late at night, clutching my purse against me and looking over my shoulder to make sure I am not being followed. That would be great! But is getting rid of guns really going to get me to that place? If it can, I would really like to see how.

“If guns are outlawed, there won’t be any risk of getting shot, because people will not own them.” Can the owners of this argument please explain to me why I have seen people waste away in front of me due to drugs? I cannot understand how that happened. I also do not understand why parents worry about their children getting wrapped up in drug use. Drugs are illegal. People “shouldn’t” be about to get a hold of them if they are illegal… much like guns, right?

I don’t know about you, but I refuse to be naïve and believe that these gun control advocates have the right idea. Bad guys are going to break the law. If guns are outlawed, why would that stop them from getting a hold of them? All it will do is put us at risk, because our attackers will have guns and we will have something less powerful or effective.

Yes, guns in untrained hands are dangerous. But guns in well trained hands provide a great avenue for self defense and family protection. What we should be focusing on is getting people gun training instead of taking away a means of protection. Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in Pahrump, Nevada, offers the greatest gun training in the world and can be affordable for almost every budget. Ignatius Piazza has worked hard to offer the best quality gun training and to offer it to people of every income level. Lots of gun training is expensive. Front Sight makes it possible for people with normal jobs (like myself) to get better gun training than even the most expensive places out there.

The Second Amendment grants us the right to bear arms… but along with that right comes responsibility. Front Sight will help you make the responsible decision of getting gun training and getting your family trained. Let’s do our part to keep America safe. Let’s get gun training and really know how to use a gun for self defense, instead of just owning one because we can.

There are so many people out there who are apprehensive about gun training. They do not want to own a gun, think that guns should be illegal and/or hate the idea of them in general. However, no matter how anti gun you may be, the fact remains that a gun can be a superior tool of self defense in a number of situations. Front Sight Firearms Training Institute can give you the gun training that you need to stay safe, even if you totally despise weapons.

I hate the idea of robbing a bank. But as much as I hate it and even though robbing a bank is illegal, bank robberies still happen. It is a gross thing to rape someone and I am thoroughly against it. That, too, is illegal. Yet, rapes still occur. Think of all the things that are currently illegal that people still do. Kidnapping, doing drugs, turning on red while ignoring the “No Turn On Red” sign… they all break the law, but we see them happen every day. If guns were illegal, do we really think that bad guys would stop using them? No… the innocent, law abiding citizens would get rid of their guns, leaving them more vulnerable and prone to attack because the bad guys would still have guns. What we need to do is secure ourselves good gun training, so we know how to safely use a gun, instead of just shying away from them in general.

You may not be comfortable with using a gun. But did you know that there is gun training available at Front Sight that will teach you how to not use a gun? This means two things. One, the gun training instructors at Front Sight will teach you the correct way to use a gun, and the wrong way to use it, so there is no question in your mind how to safely handle a gun. They show you what not to do, as well as exactly what to do, so your gun handling techniques can develop into flawless perfection.

The second thing it means is that the gun training instructors at Front Sight actually train you in how to NOT use a gun… meaning how to get out of using a gun and how to avoid using a gun. Founder and director of Front Sight, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, knows that guns offer an incredible sense of self defense, but they are not the only way out of a tricky situation. The gun training courses at Front Sight challenge your mind into deciding when is the right time for you to warn your attacker that you have a gun and will use it, and when is the right time to actually shoot, verses when is the right time to exit the situation in another manner, without presenting your weapon. Ignatius Piazza wants you to know that just because you HAVE a gun, doesn’t mean you have to USE it. It is only there for a last resort, to use in a situation that you cannot escape otherwise. Front Sight will train you heavily on this, because gun safety is their number one priority.

Many people choose to practice their Second Amendment rights by owning a gun. I think this is a great thing, because I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. However, many of these people do not actually get trained in how to use their guns. They don’t get gun training because they think that owning a gun is enough. “I just own this just in case. The chances of me having to use it are so small.” “I’ve used guns for so long; I don’t need to go get professional gun training.” And my personal favorite: “If the situation called for it, I’d just know how to shoot well.”

Here’s what I say to those people. If the situation called for it, you’d be able to shoot well, eh? So, if someone had your sister in a headlock, was holding a gun to her head and was about to shoot her, you’d be able to raise your gun and shoot him, while completely missing your sister? If someone was running off, carrying your child, you’d be quickly able to stop him? If someone broke into your room in the middle of the night and pointed a gun at you in the darkness, you’d be able to beat him to the shot, even though you aren’t even holding your gun yet and can barely see him? The stress of any of these situations is going to greatly inhibit your shooting ability, not increase it. You are likely to miss your target, if you even get a shot at all. You can help improve your chances of escaping any of these life threatening situations, as well as others, by getting the gun training that can make you a perfect shooter.

The gun training instructors at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute do not aim to make you a good shooter. They aim to make you a perfect shooter, and they will tell you this time and time again. Through hours and hours of hands on tactical gun training, shooting demonstrations and thought provoking lectures, the Front Sight gun training instructors train their students to become better shooters than they could have dreamed, thus keeping them safer when the stress of a life threatening situation hits.

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute was founded by Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, in 1996. He created Front Sight to help real people survive real threats when a life depends on it. He, himself, had received countless hours of gun training by 1988 when his neighborhood was hit by a drive by shooting. Even though he was a great shot on the range, Ignatius Piazza realized that he lacked the skills to protect himself and his family from these thugs. So, he trained as hard as he could, got the knowledge and skills he needed to be a Four Weapons Combat Master and created a place where people could learn how to do the same. Today, Ignatius Piazza directs Front Sight, where people from all backgrounds can learn how to protect themselves and their families, because no one should ever have to feel the way that Ignatius Piazza felt on the day of that drive by shooting.

After your first self defense gun training course with Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight, you will know that when the stress hits, so will your bullets.

We all know this time of year as Election Time. With all of the elections going on, it brings a lot of things into perspective. What do we want out of a government? Some members of the current government want to change some things that should never be changed. In the words of the United States Constitution, one of the things those members of the government wants to change shall “not be infringed.” How does this work? How can these government officials think it is okay to change our Constitution and take away our Second Amendment? It is not acceptable.

How can we protect our freedom and keep our Second Amendment rights? We need to first be educated about the Second Amendment, what it is, why it was written and why it is important today. Then we need to further educate ourselves by getting gun training. Guns are powerful weapons. If we want to keep our right to own a gun, we have to uphold our responsibility and know how to safely handle that gun.

Today, it is easy for us to get that gun training that is needed to fully educate ourselves. Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, is providing us with a great opportunity to grab some terrific gun training. He directs a gun training school in Pahrump, Nevada, which is located just outside of the city lights of Las Vegas. Ignatius Piazza’s gun training school is called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, and it has been ranked the number one gun training school in the world. Front Sight will open your eyes to what the Second Amendment it and what it really stands for. Then Ignatius Piazza will provide you with the highest quality firearms training that you can find, so you can feel comfortable with your choice to own a gun.

If you have made the decision to practice your Second Amendment right and keep a gun, Front Sight is the perfect choice for your next phone call. Come visit Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight and your life will be changed. You will learn the core concepts of gun use, everything about gun safety, how to shoot accurately, shooting speed, the legal side of using a gun, perfect shooting stance, how to disarm and attacker and even how to avoid using a gun in the first place.

Sounds like a lot, right? Well, you will learn way more than that. On top of learning mass amounts of information at Front Sight, Ignatius Piazza and his intelligent gun training instructors are going to make sure you actually have fun! Your time at Front Sight will be as enjoyable as it will be educational, as the Front Sight gun training instructors are knowledgeable, well trained and adamant about what they do, but do it all without a boot camp like attitude. Ignatius Piazza invites you to attend a self defense gun training course at Front Sight to learn how to keep our Second Amendment alive. Get ready to learn more than you have ever learned before AND have fun doing it!

Why do you like living in America? Many people will answer this question with a simple, “Because we have freedom.” Others take a little longer to spit it out. They usually say something like, “The United States is the best country in the world!” When pushed further to find out why they think this is the best place to live, they answer just like the first group of people. Freedom is what makes the United States so wonderful. We even have a slogan, branding us “The Land of The Free.”

In fact, freedom was such a precious thing to our Founding Fathers that they left their home country and wrote and signed a document about its importance. Lack of freedom caused these men to pack up their families and flee overseas. If this freedom is something that created this country and is something that has worked brilliantly over the last couple hundred years, why would anyone want to start taking it away? Isn’t that just a back step into what our Founding Fathers were trying to save us from?

The first Ten Amendments to the United States Constitution are something really special: The Bill of Rights. These ten rights were created as the ten most important freedoms; ten rights that cannot and will not be taken away from citizens. Things like Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion are included among this list, along with a very important one to me: The Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Right now, our current government, along with many of its supporters, is trying to get this right revoked. This is kind of a scary thought, considering the fact that one of the reasons the Right to Keep and Bear Arms was claimed in the first place was to protect us from the government. Government officials are smart! Get the guns out, and there is less of a chance people can protest against you! Let’s wake up and be smart, too.

I agree that people that don’t know how to use a gun should not be using them. Guns are dangerous when placed in untrained hands. However, if someone has had proper gun training, like the gun training offered by Dr. Ignatius Piazza at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, a gun can offer peace and security in unbelievable ways. If you were to attempt to rob someone, but noticed they had a gun, would you still continue your attempt?

Let’s not let the government endanger us and take away our freedom. But we have to be smart about it. Get gun training! Know your weapon and know how to use your gun safely. Ignatius Piazza can help you secure yourself some excellent gun training at Front Sight. In fact, Ignatius Piazza guarantees that Front Sight offers the best gun training in the world. Don’t let the government get one step closer to an absolute rule. Remember, our Founding Fathers left their country because they wanted us to have freedom. Do we want their risks, hard work and blood to count for nothing?

There is a place just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, located on 550 acres of land, that is going to change the world.

Founder and Director, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, created Front Sight to be the safest place in America. He wanted it to be a place where people could live, work, shop, go to school and enjoy entertainment, as well as receive the best gun training in the world, be able to carry weapons for self defense and live fulfilling lives. Being ranked the greatest gun training school available, Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is well on its way to reaching Ignatius Piazza’s dreams.

Front Sight opened its doors in April of 1996 and has grown considerably since then. Currently, Front Sight offers the best gun training, knife training and empty hands self defense training that money can buy. Concentrating on gun safety, shooting effectiveness and shooting speed, as well as other important aspects of gun training, Ignatius Piazza’s gun training courses outrank the courses at other firearms training schools.

Believe it or not, this gun training school started out very small. Just a few students gathered together to take a handgun training course from Ignatius Piazza. The students loved the course. Since then, Front Sight has grown to epic proportions, thanks to Ignatius Piazza’s hard work and research, his dedicated employees and testimonials from his students. In fact, Front Sight has at least doubled in size every year since its opening. If you do the math, that means that Front Sight Firearms Training Institute offers gun training courses to thousands of students every month. But it’s not surprising, considering the curriculum Ignatius Piazza put together.

Gun training courses at Front Sight include interesting lectures, gun handling demonstrations and finally, hands on tactical gun training that is based on on real life situations. There is not another gun training school in the world that can offer the quality of training that Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight provide to students every single day. Each student gets personal attention from Front Sight gun training instructors, ensuring their success in the course. Front Sight courses are fast paced, but never leave any student behind to figure things out for themselves, creating a challenging and rewarding experience for every student that steps foot on the range.

Ignatius Piazza wants to change the world’s view of firearms, creating a positive image of safety and security, because that is exactly what a gun in well trained hands can bring. If someone knows how to safely use a gun, that person is more able to provide family protection, practice self defense and increase the safety level of everyone around.

There are several places in America that make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to own a gun. Now, Front Sight Firearms Training Institute offers a place for Second Amendment Supporters to go to learn how to keep their freedoms and right to bear arms. Front Sight has taken the gun world by storm, and Ignatius Piazza doesn’t plan on stopping here!

July Fourth is just about here! It is time to celebrate with other Americans who are happy and thankful for the rights and freedoms that belong to us. What freedom are you thankful to have? This country has so many beautiful things and offers us a plethora of amazing opportunities that you cannot find in other countries. Some countries tell their women what to wear. Some countries choose the religion of their citizens. Some countries do not allow certain people to speak unless spoken to. But the United States of America… this is where freedom lives.

What better way to celebrate our wonderful freedoms than to embrace one of our own Amendments to the Constitution and have fun with it while learning how to keep ourselves, our loved ones and the public safe? What Amendment am I speaking of? I am talking about the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution: The Right To Keep And Bear Arms.

Learning how to safely and correctly use a gun for self defense is not only smart, but it is also fun! Four Weapons Combat Master, Dr. Ignatius Piazza makes sure of this during every self defense gun training course at his gun training school called Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. At Front Sight, safety and practicality are matched up with excitement and fun, to keep things interesting, educational and useful. This July, hundreds of people are already signed up for a Front Sight gun training course and are excited to receive the world’s best gun training from Ignatius Piazza and his team of gun training instructors.

But if so many people attend Front Sight, how can I expect to get good training?

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is the number one gun training school in the world. It did not get to be that way by ignoring students or letting students just feel like one of the masses. Each Front Sight student can expect personalized attention every step of the way. Ignatius Piazza works hard to keep Front Sight as personal and as effective as possible, making sure that every student is attended to.

Just ask any student of Front Sight. You can view some of the students’ testimonials by visiting Front Sight’s website. Ignatius Piazza does an incredible job at managing such a huge gun training school while keeping it surprisingly intimate. According to Ignatius Piazza’s students, you will be hard pressed to find another gun training school quite like Front Sight. Front Sight offers superior quality rifle training, shotgun training, automatic weapons training and handgun training, as well as other forms of self defense training such as martial arts training and knife training. It is truly a dream come true for someone who wants to learn how to stay safe, offer family protection and have fun while learning these things.

How Ignatius Piazza does it, we may never know. All we know is that he does it. Front Sight has successfully at least doubled in size every year since its opening and has not once sacrificed the quality of gun training provided. Students are time and time again overly satisfied with what they receive at Front Sight.

Independence Day is all about celebrating our freedom and independence. Front Sight is the perfect way to do it!
