Some people let tragedies get them down and let them spread darkness over everything. Some people ignore them and pretend they never happened. Other people make miracles out of the tragedies and end up changing the world.
Dr. Ignatius Piazza is one of those few people who made a miracle out of a tragedy. In 1988, his neighborhood was rampaged by a devastating drive by shooting. So what did Ignatius Piazza do?
He started studying everything about gun training. He went to the top gun training schools around and practiced shooting for hours and hours and hours. After thousands of hours of studying, learning and shooting, Ignatius Piazza finally secured himself a Four Weapons Combat Master Certificate. But this was not enough for the man. Ignatius Piazza has always been a family man. At that point in time, he knew he could provide his family the protection that they deserved in any and every situation that might have risen. But Ignatius Piazza is also a philanthropist. He wanted everyone in the world to be able to be as safe as they could be.
He began piecing together the best parts about each of his gun training courses, tweaking the not so awesome parts and molding them all together into one gun training course that provided the best of all of the gun training schools with none of the drawbacks or weaknesses. The prisoners of Illinois have started being released from prison early. The process of releasing these prisoners will continue over several weeks, eventually totaling about one thousand released inmates, which is on the light end if you compare it to the rest of the country. Virginia is another state that is ‘only’ planning on releasing about one thousand prisoners. New York is proposing an early release of sixteen hundred, Kentucky plans on two thousand, and California is going to release about fifty five thousand over the next few years. No, I did not type that wrong. I did not mean fifty five hundred. I meant fifty five thousand. Scary! Also, California is planning on reducing the parole population to further save money for the state. Seventy thousand parolees will soon be let off parole. Ohio’s prison system was built to hold thirty six thousand inmates, but currently holds fifty two thousand. Many states are promising that “only non violent criminals will be released,” but in states like Kentucky, even murderers made the early release list. In addition to letting prisoners out of custody early and reducing parole populations, prisons will be less guarded, as thousands of prison employees are being let go.
