USABA Fact Sheet
Dear Dr. Piazza:

Thank you for your donation to the U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA). Because of your generosity, the USABA is able to provide more sports opportunities to blind and visually impaired individuals across the United States.

2004 will be an exciting year as we are looking forward to fulfilling several goals:

  • We are reaching out to 500 new potential athletes in our grassroots Sports Education Camps, scheduled in 11 cities.
  • Both our Women’s and Men’s National Goalball Teams are focusing on winning medals for the United States at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games.
  • We are staging more events, designing new programs and offering a variety of scholarships which will help our members reach their athletic potential and fulfill their dreams.

Again, thank you for joining us in our quest to ensure that blind and visually impaired persons are offered the same opportunities, both on and off the field, as their sighted peers.

Kindest regards,

Susan J. Weeks
Director of Development

Many thanks for your generous donation and support of athletes who are blind and visually impaired.

Warm wishes,

Mark Luce
Executive Director
